Who we are

Oriol, Mateu and Eduard met almost 20 years ago in the internationally renowned elBulli restaurant's kitchen.

In 2012, they decided to associate themselves with and make a thought that had been around for a long time by the mind: to have their own restaurant. Thus, in April 2012, the Compartir restaurant was born. Located in the heart of the Mediterranean, in an idyllic setting, full of magic and charm, such as Cadaqués and the Costa Brava, the restaurant bases its gastronomic offer on dishes to be shared at the center of the table as a result of a modern kitchen sprinkled with traditional elaborations.

But the concept of “compartir” (to share) goes beyond putting a plate in the middle of the table. Oriol, Eduard and Mateu, together with Marc Llach, head chef, work so that the whole team understands the full meaning of the verb: to experience experiences, moments, conversations, memories and sensations; but also to work as a team, to make a daily effort and to enjoy the way they understand cooking and that they know so
well how to transmit.
